Hello Everyone! Today I have a nail of the day post on a Covergirl polish that was recently released in the glosstinis collection for the summer of 2013. All of the glosstinis released were basically mini polishes in comparison to their regular sized polish, and they released all new colours as well. Pina Colada is a stunning pale, banana yellow colour.
Price and Availability
The Covergirl Glosstinis are limited edition, but are currently available and retails for between $2.97 and $4.49 CAD.
These polishes have brilliant staying power, this one in particular lasted about 5 days on my nails without any chipping whatsoever. For someone who needs to change there polish every couple of days due to chipping I thought it was pretty incredible. As far as opacity, I would say it was average; it needed about 2-3 coats to be fully opaque. It was mostly opaque after two coats, but I almost felt like it needed a third coat to finish it off. It did apply very evenly, especially for a yellow nail polish, and as I said had incredible lasting power.
Overall I was very impressed with this polish, it is very inexpensive and great quality. You really can’t beat the price point, and especially for how long it lasted on my nails. I would give it a rating of 5/5 everything from the colour to application, and lasting power worked out really well and I would definitely recommend this line of polishes.
I hope you have a great day!
